Air conditioning units
Offshore platforms have high demands on positive pressure in order to protect the inner atmosphere. For this purpose, ENGIE Axima offers field-proven air conditioning units producing the corresponding positive pressure. Our compact and cost-efficient air conditioning units comply with the coating requirements of the NORSOK offshore regulations.
Via emergency power systems, availability is guaranteed on offshore platforms for the generation of power. In this regard, ENGIE Axima provides systems to optimally promote combustion air and cooling air. Here, an especially efficient and low-energy ventilation of the engine rooms is crucial.
Fan coil units
Due to electrical energy conversion, very high thermal loads occur in transformer rooms and gas-insulated switchboard rooms. ENGIE Axima offer highly efficient fan coil units ensuring optimal air conditioning by means of chilled water cooling systems. Via the high air volume flow, the rooms are flushed and with it heat pockets are prevented.
Axial, radial, high-pressure fans
On offshore platforms, ventilators are often used for the ventilation of rooms that are in explosion-proof areas. ENGIE Axima provides efficient external rotor motors as well as EC motors for the optimal and energy-efficient operation of the ventilators.
Provision cooling systems
Given the adverse conditions on offshore platforms, catering for the ship’s crew and as a consequence the long-term storage of food are a central topic. For this purpose, ENGIE Axima delivers reliable and robust provision cooling systems in a redundant and low-maintenance design.
Waste cooling systems
Offshore platforms are often hundreds of kilometers from the coast so that waste disposal can often only be carried out in intervals after several weeks. ENGIE Axima provides optimal cooling systems for the proper storage of waste. We design platform-specific solutions for waste cooling rooms in the form of individual systems, also in a redundant design.
Chilled water units
For the use on offshore platforms, ENGIE Axima has developed specially durable and robust screw water chillers, characterized by a high degree of efficiency combined with a low maintenance effort.
ENGIE Axima offers the complete range of fire-extinguishing systems using water as an extinguishing agent. Be it hydrant, sprinkler, low-pressure or high-pressure water mist systems: ENGIE Axima designs, manufactures and installs individually designed fire-extinguishing systems for engine and battery rooms on offshore platforms.”
In rooms with a high fire load, such as for example engine rooms or paint storage rooms, CO2-based automated fire-extinguishing systems are used on a preferential basis. ENGIE Axima offers the complete range of CO2 fire-extinguishing systems for use on offshore platforms.
ENGIE Axima designs, delivers and installs pipe systems for any type of system on offshore platforms. In this regard, we are able to process different materials depending on the type of medium to be fed.”
ENGIE Axima manufactures custom-tailored switchboards and control systems with which you will be able to gain a quick and comprehensive overview of our different systems on board. All control cabinets are manufactured pursuant to the requirements according to standards and provisions of the international classification societies DNV, GL, LR, BV as well as the VDE testing and certification institute. For the use on naval vessels and submarines, the control cabinets are delivered in a shock-resistant and vibration-proof design.
The ENGIE Axima switchboards and control systems can be equipped with an SPC and a touch panel for operation and detailed fault display. A visualization of the respective system as well as the operation and control may also be carried out with one or several remote control panels. An interface to the superordinate control systems of the offshore platform is provided to control the ENGIE Axima systems.
